India's Nicole Faria is Miss Earth 2010

MANILA, Philippines – A 20-year-old fashion model from Bangalore, India was crowned Miss Earth 2010 in the televised pageant held at Vinpearl Land in Nha Trang, Vietnam Saturday night.
Miss India Nicole Faria bested 83 other contestants in the 10th edition of the international beauty pageant which focuses on care and preservation of the environment.
She was crowned by Miss Earth 2009 Larissa Ramos of Brazil.
Earlier, Faria won Miss Talent when she performed a graceful belly dance that combined Oriental and Middle Eastern styles. She is also set to enter show business as part of her prizes in winning Femina Miss Earth India 2010.
It was the first time that the Miss Earth contest was held outside the Philippines. Organizers said that the beauty pageant will be held in Vietnam in the next 10 years, on an alternate basis.
Miss Air (1st runner-up) was Miss Ecuador Jennifer Pazmino, followed by Miss Water (2nd runner-up), Miss Thailand Watsaporn Wattanakoon, and Miss Fire (3rd runner-up), Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy Bosques. Eighty-four contestants took part in the pageant before they were narrowed down to 14 semifinalists.  
Those who advanced to the Top 7 were Miss Ecuador Jennifer Pazmiño; Miss India Nicole Faria; Miss Japan Marina Kishira; Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy Bosques; Miss South Africa Nondyebo Dzingwa; Miss Thailand Watsaporn Wattanakoon; and Miss Venezuela Mariángela Bonanni. 

Nicole Faria has won the crown of Miss Earth 2010, in the 10^th edition of the beauty pageant.  Faria is also Miss India Earth 2010. Congratulations to her! The Miss Earth event was held today in Vietnam at Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang.

Talking about Nicole, Miss India World 2010, Manasvi Mamgai said, "I feel very happy for her. This is the only title India has won this year, so it's great. Nicole has got the looks, so we all had expectations that she would win."

During an interview, Nicole said, "I want to make friends and enjoy my time in Vietnam. It's not about winning or losing, but how you play the game."

Faria, a 20-year-old girl from Bangalore, won the title at the talent show with a scintillating belly dance that combines Oriental and Middle Eastern style."We are ecstatic and overjoyed although we expected it," Faria's father Ian said in Bangalore.The event raised 100 million Vietnamese Dong, which will be transferred to the local Red Cross to support flood victims in the central region of Vietnam.

Robot The Movie : Synopsis And Trailer

Endhiran is a typical science fiction movie in which Rajinikanth plays a dual role of a scientist and a robot. The scientist Dr. Vaseegaran creates a robot with artificial intelligence and names it as Chitti. The robot eventually falls in love with Sharmili, a character played by Aishwarya Rai. The robot starts writing romantic poems and behaves like a human being.

Being aware of the extraordinary artificial intelligence of the robot, the villains try to get hold of the robot. The scientist then fights back to prevent the robot from falling prey to the enemies. The story then revolves around the battle between the scientist and the evil forces.

Robot The Movie : Wallpapers

 Tamil mega star Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer bilingual film Endhiran is being touted as the costliest film of India with a budget of Rs 150 crore.

The film, which will be released this September in Tamil and Hindi (Robot), has been in the making for over two years and has been shot in exotic locations like Vienna in Austria, Machu Picchu in Peru, US and Brazil.

Rajini is going straight into the A-league, reportedly netting Rs 45 crore for the movie, which is second only to Jackie Chan, in all of Asia and a little less than what Tom Cruise got for his last film. Ash is pocketing a cool Rs 6 crore forEndhiran, making her the highest paid actress in the country.

Rajinikanth, 60, loved by audiences for his flamboyant style onscreen, plays a double role of a scientist and robot in the film. 

The movie boasts of an impressive foreign crew that has costume designer E Vogt and stunt coordinator Yuen Woo Ping. According to industry sources, the budget of the film is double of the action entertainer Blue, which had a budget of Rs 75 crore.

The 40 per cent of the cost has been spent on the special effects in the science-fiction film, which has been directed by S Shankar and produced by Sun TV owner Kalanithi Maran. Film's music is by Oscar-winner A R Rahman.

Some of the other films, known for their extravagant budget include K Asif's evergreen historical love story, Mughal-e-Azam. The film took nine years in the making and cost Rs 12 crore in 1960. Kamal Amrohi's historical film Razia Sultan starring Hema Malini cost around Rs 23 crore in 1983 and Yash Chopra's action thriller Dhoom-2 is said to be made on a budget of Rs 55 crore.
